Now in its tenth year, Holy Trinity Men’s Group welcomes all those in Macclesfield and the surrounding district who would like to know more about the Christian faith and would like to meet like-minded people. We now have more than ninety members. We organise up to three Men’s Evenings each year attended by up to twenty-five people. In addition, two Men’s Suppers are held at Macclesfield Golf Club to which all the men in Holy Trinity, with their guests, are invited. These are outreach events and are attended by about forty people.

We have been blessed with excellent speakers who have been both entertaining and challenging! For the first time, in September 2006, we had a Men’s Weekend Away on a narrow boat!

We have established a Prayer Chain and, for the first time, ran an Alpha Course specifically for men. In liaison with the Mission Group of Churches Together in Macclesfield, some of our members play an active part in the Redeeming Our Community in Macclesfield (ROCiM) initiative that is concentrating initially on the Moss Estate.

We also took an active part in the Macclesfield Big Deal Weekend in July 2006. We particularly encourage those men who are associated, through their families and friends, with Holy Trinity Church. But all others are welcome. We try to provide a welcoming, sociable and faithful environment. Do join us.
