Welcome to Holy Trinity Hurdsfield

Holy Trinity Hurdsfield Church on the hillside

Holy Trinity Hurdsfield (aka HTH) is a large, busy & friendly evangelical Church of England church, located on Hurdsfield Road with wonderful views of Macclesfield town and the surrounding hills.
We have over 200 members on the electoral roll and about 230 of us meet to worship God together at our Sunday morning service. We have several fellowship groups for all ages within the church and we also have various groups dedicated to serving the local community. If you are disabled you may like to know that there are no steps into the building and there is parking just outside the front door.
We have a hearing loop in operation during our services and we can also provide large print versions of the service sheets and songs if you would find that easier.

We are pleased to announce that we have now appointed a new vicar, his name is Evan Cockshaw, he is currently the minister at St Thomas’s, Aldridge in the West Midlands. It’s strange how things link together, as this is the parish where John Delight used to be the Rector.

Evan did a degree in physics and astrophysics, and was then ordained in 2000.

Evan is in his late 30’s. He is married, and has 3 children: 2 boys and a girl

It’s likely that the family will move here sometime in the school summer holidays, but we don’t have an exact date yet.

If you would like to find out more about Evan and his family you could watch the following video, a Skype video call recorded on Sunday 24th February during the service.
